"Won't you be my neighbor"

So I got mad at Ryan once because he was playing on his stupid computer while watching the baby and when he wasn't looking, Isaac rolled over and bonked his head on the computer. Well, the other day Isaac and I got back from a walk and I was unlocking the door and left Isaac right next to me in his stroller in the carport. I had also checked the mail so I brought it all in and put it on the counter. I started rummaging through it, Isaac is still in plain sight two steps away. All the sudden I hear my neighbor say "Uh Oh", I step out the door to find Isaac rolling down the driveway onto the street!! He was catching some pretty good speed too. So my neighbor and I are running down the street to catch up, while Isaac is just watching us chase him. Had my neighbor not been there I would have thought he was kidnapped. If you look out our living room window that straightaway street is where he was going, not even angled towards a curb, straight down the road. Who knows what would have stopped him. So thank goodness for friendly neighbors. I have nightmares about it still. Next time I will use the brake...
