I'M ALIVE!

I did it! I finished the race feeling pretty good. I was within my time frame so I am satisfied. Now I just need to knock off about 30 minutes for the next one...One day... It was so much fun. Beautiful weather, wonderful trip with family and friends. I need to get Ryan to run one of these with me! I was a little sore, but no injuries. The long car ride home didn't help with the soreness either.
Here are some of the highlights...

Isaac was such a good boy! He slept most of the way there, which made it easier on Mom and Dad. And did so well at the hotel! Our hotel was right on Main street so it was nice to just walk every where and not have to load him in the car seat every time.

We almost stayed at some hostel, like a camp ground with cabins too. Luckily there was vacancy at the Best Western. We have to think of a baby's comfort now!

Our first little family road trip. It was so nice to get away and so fun to see friends there as well!

So Ryan's buddy "Wrigaz" (Dave Wrigley), joined us as well. On Saturday night Ryan and him went out and played pool while Tara and I passed out at the hotel. They came back around 12:30 AM and Wrigley was so wired!! He wanted to have "Pillow Talk". We pretended to listen, and Tara was a great sport staying up the longest to hear him ramble :). Just kidding Dave, we loved listening to you! It was great having you on the trip with us!
On the way home we found a motel called Pillow Talk. How random.

Congrats! what an accomplishment. Just a few questions,
1.where do you get Isaac's clothes? they are always super cute in all the posts about him
2. Did "Hadigs" do the race as well or was he moral support?
3.Are you super excited to see me tonight?

I am so impressed. I cannot run for the life of me. If I were being chased by something that wanted to eat me, I would die, because I cannot run for even 10 minutes. Its a sad story. I haven't seen Dave forever! You will have to tell him hi for me next time you see him!
