As I was on the treadmill this morning I was thinking about how I needed to update my blog. I realized all I really post is pictures of my wee one so I was trying to think of something else to post. I am scheduled to run the half marathon in Moab in two weeks. I am absolutely terrified! I have run a couple before but this was pre-pregnancy over a year and a half ago and yeah right I kept up working out through the pregnancy. I vowed to get as fat as I could because it was the only time I would be allowed to eat a dozen cookies in one sitting without feeling too guilty. Anyway, they choose you from a lottery and both Ryan and I got in. It was a push to get us both in shape and get back in to working out because I did miss running. Well I have been a terrible trainer! I really hope that I can finish this race. Ryan backed out because he just so is not prepared for it. Plus we need someone to stay back with Fig. I thought for sure it would be easy to find the time to workout but between work, baby, household chores, etc, I would rather spend the extra time with my little boy. So here I am crunching to be ready for this race, I had to share so that you all would keep me in your prayers! I will let you know how I do, even it is a picture of me being swept up by the clean up crew! Wish me luck!

I am supposed to be doing the St. Louis half marathon in April but with moving and everything, don't know if I will be able to (darn!).
Anyway,in response to your comment, Cameron has rotations all next year, which is where he goes to different hospitals around the country to train with the doctors there. So we will be living all over the place. June in Utah, July, Aug. and Sep. in Va. , and Oct.-Apr. in Fla. That is why I'm homeschooling. No, I am not that brave and/or talented to do it just for fun!
Hopefully I'll see you at Hollie's wedding. I'm flying out on a buddy pass so who knows if I'll get there or not! :)
I've only run a few 5k's. So you are way ahead of me. Chad has platerfaceitis(feet problems) so I haven't ran forever but we do have an eliptical so that keeps my butt in shape. Good luck and one day mabey I'll give it a try.
P.S. I can't see some of the pictures you posted.
In my opinion, anyone who has run one of these is amazing. So you are amazing. A couple years ago I decided I would start training for one, and twenty minutes later I realized I was tired.
You bet I will be praying for you!
Les, you're a natural!! You'll do fine. Fun to go to Moab this time of year.
Good Luck! I admire anyone who works, has a kid/s, and finds time to work out too. I don't even work and it's a struggle to make it to the gym more thsn twice a week. I'll pray for you!
